A: Signing up for a SnapShotU! account is free, quick and easy to do. Just click on Signup in the top right corner, fill out the required information, select the school you’re a fan of and follow the simple on-screen directions.
Q: How do I upload photos and create albums?
A: There are a few different ways to upload photos to SnapShotU!: from the My Home or My Projects pages, click on Upload Photos. From the Store page, click on Get Started. You can upload up to 100 photos at a time, JPG/JPEG format, with a maximum file size of 6 megabytes per photo. Once you have uploaded your photos, you can save them as an album for organization, sharing and easy access later.
Q: What are albums?
A: Albums are collections of your photos that you have uploaded to SnapShotU!. Albums are used to easily organize your photographs.
Q: How do I start a new project?
A: It’s best to first sign-up for an account and upload your personal photos, but you can create a project without your own photos because a selection of stock photos from each of our featured schools is available for your use. SnapShotU! offers several different project options to showcase your photos: Photo Books, Calendars, Greeting Cards, and Postcards. There are several different ways to easily create new projects: from the My Home page, click on Start a Project, or you can click on the individual projects under Start New Projects (Photo Books, Calendars, Greeting Cards, and Postcards). Alternatively, from the Store page you can click on View Details under each project description, or click on the individual projects under Shop By Category (Photo Books, Calendars, Greeting Cards, and Postcards).
Q: How do I share a project with friends and family?
A: Sharing a project on SnapShotU! is quick, easy, and — best of all — absolutely free! There are two ways to share your projects: share with an email, or share with a link. The first step in sharing a project is to click on the Sharing tab, then click on the Start Sharing button. Next, select the project you want to share from the dropdown menu. To share your project via email, type in the email addresses of your friends or family, then click on Share Your Project. In order to share your project via a link, simply copy the link from the sharing page and paste it into an email, instant message, or anywhere else you’d normally post a link.
Q: How do I purchase a project?
A: The first step in purchasing a created SnapShotU! project is to click the My Projects tab. Next, select the project you want to purchase. This will open the project editor, where you can make final tweaks, preview the project, and add it to your shopping cart. In the shopping card, you can complete the purcahse process by entering your shipping and payment information.
Q: Why am I unable to edit a project when I click on it?
A: If a project is currently in your shopping cart, the project editor will not allow you to make changes to your project. In order to make changes to the project, remove it from your shopping cart. After making the desired changes to your project, you can re-add it to your shopping cart.
Q: What shipping options does SnapShotU! offer?
A: SnapShotU! offers several different shipping options from FedEx including - Ground, Second Day, Express Saver, Standard Overnight, and Priority Overnight.
Q: I have a coupon/promo code. How do I apply it to my order?
A: Coupon and promo codes are applied to your order during the checkout process. Once projects are added to your shopping cart and you are ready to check out, you can enter your coupon/promo code into the Coupon Code box, click Apply Coupon, and the appropriate discount will be applied to your order.
Q: How do I customize a Calendar, Greeting Card, or Postcard?
A: In order to customize a Calendar, Greeting Card, or Postcard, click on the Store tab, then click on View Details under the desired project type, and then click Go. Next, enter a name for your new project. Next, click Save and you will be taken to the project editor. Step 1 in the project editor is to select the desired format for your project from the dropdowns menu options, and click Next Step. In step 2, select a theme for your project, and click Next Step. In step 3, you can add photos, icons, backgrounds, borders, and text to your project. When you are finished editing your project, click on Preview to review your project or layouts. From here you can either save your project to work on later, or add your project to your shopping cart by clicking the Add to Cart button.
Q: How do I customize a Photo Book?
A: In order to create a Photo Book, click on the Store tab, then click View Details under the Photo Book section, and then click Go underneath the type of Photo Book you want to create. Next, enter a name for your new Photo Book. Next, click Save and you will be taken to the project editor. Step 1 in the project editor is to select the desired format of Photo Book from the dropdown menu options, and click Next Step. In step 2, select all of the photos you want to include in your Photo Book. You can add photos from your own albums or a school’s album. After you have selected the photos to include in your Photo Book (you can add more photos later), click Next Step. In step 3, select a theme for your Photo Book, preview it to ensure you like it, and click Next Step. In step 4, you have many choices for editing, such as- adding photos, icons, backgrounds, borders, and text to your Photo Book. When you are finished editing your Photo Book, click on Preview to review your project or layouts. From here you can either save your Photo Book to work on later, or add it to your shopping cart by clicking the Add to Cart button.
Q: How do I add/edit/remove a photo from a project?
A: In order to add/edit/remove a photo from a project, you have to be in the project editor, on the Edit Your Project step. To add a photo, click the My Photos tab, open the desired album, then click and drag the desired photo into your project. To edit a photo, click on the photo you want to change and select the operation you want to perform. You can move, resize, rotate (personal photos only, stock photos cannot be rotated), edit, crop, place in front, send to back, and set your photo as the background of the page. To remove a photo, you can either click and drag the photo off of your project, or click on the photo and select Delete.

A: In order to add/change/remove a border from a photo, you have to be in the project editor, on the Edit Your Project step. To add a border to a photo, click the Borders tab, open the desired folder, then click and drag the desired border onto your photo. To change a border, simply click and drag a new border onto the same photo. To remove a border from a photo, click and drag the Delete Borders icon (represented as a circle with a line through it) onto the photo.

A: In order to add/edit/remove text from a project, you have to be in the project editor, on the Edit Your Project step. To add text, click the Text tab, then click and drag the text icon into your project. To edit a text box, click on the text box you want to change and select the operation you want to perform. You can move, adjust the width, rotate, place in front, and send to back. To add or change the content of a text box, click on the text box you want to change, and enter the text into the text editor located underneath the object tabs. From here you can also change the font, font size, color, appearance, justification, and background of the text box. To remove a text box, you can either click and drag the text box off of the screen, or click on the text box and select Delete.

Glossary
Project: A user created, designed, and edited product containing their photos as well as content from their respective University. SnapShotU! offers several different projects: Photo Books, Calendars, Greeting Cards, and Postcards.
Background: An image that can be placed onto a page of a project. Backgrounds are automatically placed behind all other objects on the page.
Theme: A set of backgrounds and photo boxes that are automatically applied to a project. SnapShotU! has two different themes available for projects: University and Sport. The backgrounds and photo boxes can be changed or removed.
Icon: A small image or graphic that can be applied to a page of a project. An example would be a University logo.
Text box: An area on a page of a project that contains written content that can be resized, moved, or deleted.
Project editor: The module of SnapShotU! that allows users to create and edit their projects.
Album: A named, organized collection of the user’s photos that have been uploaded to SnapShotU!. Albums can be applied to the user’s projects and can also be shared with friends and family.
